Oh No, George
Oh, No, George! We will play from 19-29 October in the Main Theatre.
Adapted from the award-winning picture book by Chris Haughton, the show tells the story of George, who wants so much to be a good dog but can’t resist temptation.
This brand-new show for children aged 3+ (and their grown-ups) uses acrobatics, slapstick comedy, sign-supported English and live music to bring George’s joyful escapades to life.

Norwich Puppet Theatre’s sideways take on Shakespeare’s classic play
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
will be played in the Adventure Theatre from 25-29 October.
World-famous Shakespearean Professor Nick Bottom is about to present his talk on A Midsummer Night’s Dream – but there is a technical problem: his laptop cannot contain the magical forces at play, and the sprites in the software want to tell the story in their own words.

Polka Theatre is one of just a handful of dedicated children’s venues in the UK.
Continues to present a year-round programme of shows produced by Polka and from visiting companies. Polka also offers a full programme of creative learning activities for ages 0–12, with over 21,000 children participating last year.
Polka enjoys flexible rehearsal and workshop spaces and two performance spaces:
the Main Theatre has a 300-seat capacity, and
the Adventure Theatre can seat up to 90, depending on the show format.
Over the past year, Polka has worked with 143 schools through creative learning projects
and has distributed over 6,000 free tickets to schools through their Curtain Up! scheme.
Polka is a community hub and vital resource, open six days per week,
50 weeks per year at a challenging time to be a sustainable public venue with step-free access,
free-to-access play spaces and a cosy and welcoming café and shop.
