Overview
King’s Head Theatre brought Jack and the Beanstalk to Islington for the 2025 festive season, with a separate adults-only version of the pantomime running alongside the family production. The adult performances took the same story and pushed the innuendo, camp, guest appearances and late-night panto energy much further.
Dates and Venue
The adults-only performances ran at King’s Head Theatre, 116P Upper Street, Islington, London, from 27 November 2025 to 3 January 2026. The production was recommended for ages 18+.
Adult Panto Guest Stars
The adults-only run featured a rotating line-up of theatre and drag guest stars. Announced names included Veronica Green, Kate Butch, Viola, Cassidy Janson, Francis Haugen, Steven Webb, Adèle Anderson, Ella Vaday, Don One, Georgina Onuorah, Danielle Steers and Le Fil, with each guest appearing on selected performances.
Cast
The 2025 production starred Victoria Scone as Dame Trott, Elliott Baker-Costello as Jack, Priscille Grace as Jill, Mia Ito Smith as Fairy Fullobeans, Pavanveer Sagoo as Pat the Cow and Joseph Lukehurst as Nightshade.
What Made the Adults-Only Version Different?
The show was billed as a no-holds-barred, adults-only take on the family pantomime, with extra innuendo, guest-star solo numbers, show tunes, slapstick and a deliberately cheekier tone. It followed the success of King’s Head Theatre’s 2024 adult pantomime and expanded the number of adult performances for 2025.
