Autumn Folklore & Ghost Stories

Chill & Thrill is not only about full-on scare attractions. Two atmospheric culture picks now on the radar are Witching the Wild Year at Emmetts Garden on 16 October 2026, an evening of autumn folklore with Zoë Howe, and Ghost Stories for Christmas at Charlton House on 6 December 2026.

Witching the Wild Year runs from 6.30pm–7.30pm and costs £15. Ghost Stories for Christmas begins at 7.30pm, runs for around 1 hour 20 minutes and is not suitable for under-10s according to the official listing.
