Clarissa's Corner

True crime, notorious cases, dark history, forensic investigations and the stories that move from real life onto stage and screen.

Welcome to the darker side of Clarissa’s Corner. This hub brings together real cases, crime museums and exhibitions, dark history, forensic talks, true-crime theatre, screen adaptations and my own reviews and visits.

I’m keeping the lines clear as this grows: genuine true crime and history sit alongside dramatised adaptations, while fictional crime only appears where there is a strong real-world or historical connection. Personal reviews remain separate from practical guides so the archive stays accurate.

True Crime Museums

First-hand reviews and visits only: shows I’ve actually seen, talks I’ve attended and places I’ve personally explored. Guides remain separate so historical and practical information never gets mixed up with my experience.

The Lizzie Borden Trail

Lizzie Borden is already becoming the first full case cluster on Clarissa’s Corner. Start with the Bury the Hatchet guide, then read my 4/5 review. The Netflix Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story post and a dedicated True CRIME Museum Hastings guide are being developed next.
