Hexmoor Wizarding Prison London brings dark magic, immersive theatre and magical cocktails together beneath the streets of Shoreditch. The experience places visitors inside a live fantasy story as inmates of a secret magical prison.

Latest Update
23 August 2026: Clarissa’s Corner guide prepared with the currently available experience, location, ticket and drinks information. Prices and operating details should be checked again before publication.
Overview
Hexmoor is an immersive fantasy theatre and cocktail experience at Unit 11, 127 Hackney Road, London E2 8GY. Visitors are processed into the prison, given a prison-issue jumpsuit and drawn into a story involving forbidden magic, mysterious disappearances, an ancient prophecy and the secrets hidden within Hexmoor.
What to Expect
Live actors, cinematic-style sets, special effects and interactive storytelling bring the prison to life. You can interact with the characters and investigate the story as much as you like, but there is no requirement to act or roleplay.
Your ‘sentence’ lasts around 1 hour 45 minutes. Along the way you’ll encounter guards and inmates, uncover clues and hidden secrets and learn more about the mystery surrounding the prison and the Hollow King. It is described as more dark fantasy than horror and is not an escape room.
Drinks & Ticket Options
Standard admission includes three handcrafted cocktails or non-alcoholic mocktails, presented as contraband potions and incorporated into the story. Higher ticket tiers add extras including another shimmering drink, a personalised wizard licence or a custom wand.
Tickets are currently advertised from £48, with different packages depending on the extras included. Prices and booking fees can vary, so the current official ticket page should be checked before booking.
Clarissa’s Review
I haven’t visited Hexmoor yet, so this is a planning guide rather than a review. If I go, I’ll keep this page as the practical guide and link to a separate first-hand review covering the story, atmosphere, drinks and whether the ticket price feels worth it.
