The Classic Afternoon Tea London Sightseeing Bus Tour is the most straightforward option if you want the traditional Brigit’s experience rather than a character theme. Brigit’s describes it as the original afternoon tea bus tour it launched in 2013. It is currently for ages 5+ and includes a 90-minute sightseeing tour with afternoon tea and a souvenir travel cup.
Peppa Pig

PAW Patrol
The PAW Patrol London Bus Tour is also listed for ages 2+, making it another option for families with preschool-aged children. Brigit’s currently advertises both a regular PAW Patrol tour and a Christmas Lights version.
Paddington

Age Guidance
Age rules differ by tour. Brigit’s currently says Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol tours are suitable from age 2. Classic, Paddington and MONOPOLY tours are generally for ages 5+, and babies are not permitted. Always check the individual tour before booking because themed and limited-run experiences can have different age guidance.
Food, Dietary Options & Allergies
Brigit’s advertises traditional, vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free afternoon tea options across its bus tour programme, but this does not mean every allergy can be accommodated.
The operator currently says it cannot cater for nut-free, peanut-free, combined dairy-and-gluten-free, combined vegan-and-gluten-free diets or Coeliacs. Gluten-free food is prepared in a shared kitchen and may contain traces. Allergies should be emailed to Brigit’s and confirmed by management before your visit.
If the team cannot accommodate a child’s allergy or food needs, Brigit’s says families may bring their own food for that child.
Accessibility
Brigit’s has adapted the lower deck of one Routemaster with a ramp and a secure wheelchair space. This accessible bus is not currently bookable through the normal online system, so wheelchair users need to contact the booking team directly to discuss a suitable tour, date and time.
Important: Brigit’s says its themed buses are not currently wheelchair accessible. That means accessibility needs to be checked against the exact experience rather than assuming every bus can use the adapted vehicle.
SEN & Sensory Planning
These are moving bus experiences with fixed seating, traffic movement, road noise and a busy sightseeing environment. Character tours may also use music, screens, recorded voices, hosts, games and singalongs. If someone in your group is sensitive to noise, movement or unexpected changes, it is worth explaining the format in advance and contacting Brigit’s about the specific tour before booking.
Practical Information
- Booking: advance booking is required.
- Arrival: Brigit’s asks passengers to arrive around 20 minutes before departure; buses cannot wait for latecomers.
- Getting on and off: these are not hop-on, hop-off tours. Guests board and leave at the designated departure point.
- Toilets: most buses do not have an onboard toilet. Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol buses have an emergency toilet/changing facility for children only.
- Buggies: space is limited on Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol buses and only foldable buggies can be accommodated.
- Departure point: this varies by tour, so check your confirmation carefully. Brigit’s currently uses Victoria Coach Station, Northumberland Avenue, Trafalgar Square and Temple Embankment for different experiences.
- Seating: tables generally seat up to four. VIP front-upper-deck seating is available on some tours.
