It is also the perfect excuse for me to revisit Vanessa Fewings on Clarissa’s Corner. Vanessa isn’t a new name around here: I interviewed her during my earlier Enthrall coverage, and that history deserves to stay part of the site rather than disappearing every time a new book arrives.
What is Eternal Obsession about?
Eternal Obsession is Book 2 in Vanessa Fewings’ Eternal Desires series, published by Vinci Books. It is a dark paranormal vampire romance with enemies-to-lovers tension, gothic fantasy, obsessive revenge and forbidden romance at its heart.
The story follows Jadeon Artimas, heir to a legacy of vampire hunters, and Orpheus, the ancient vampire who transforms him. Their story stretches through the shadows of England, including Soho and Stonehenge, as vengeance, hatred and desire become increasingly difficult to separate.

Why Eternal Obsession caught my attention
I’ve covered Vanessa Fewings before, so this isn’t simply a random new-release announcement. There is a proper Clarissa’s Corner trail here stretching back to my original interview and Enthrall-era coverage.
Add vampires and gothic romance into the equation and, frankly, this new series has wandered straight into my spooky-books territory.
