The Olivier Award-winning musical returns to the stage from 24 September 2026, touring Leicester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Salford, Norwich and Canterbury before finishing with five performances at the Royal Albert Hall from 13–15 November 2026.
Overview
Sylvia tells the story of activist Sylvia Pankhurst, placing her work, family relationships and political convictions at the centre of a musical powered by hip hop, funk and soul.
The show is created by Kate Prince and features music by Josh Cohen and DJ Walde. Prince also directs and choreographs the production.
Cast
Beverley Knight reprises her Olivier Award-winning role as Emmeline Pankhurst, with Naomi Katiyo starring as Sylvia Pankhurst.
Naomi Katiyo joined the 2026 production after Sharon Rose, who had previously been announced for the role of Sylvia, withdrew. The wider company includes returning and new cast members across the tour.
