Growing up in the East End to Irish immigrants, Joann Condon never thought she could become an actor because of her social background, weight and inability to sing; based on her acting career and life story Little Boxes is a comedic solo show exploring the boxes that Joann found herself in and those she broke out of. Through personal anecdotes, ranging from funny to the heart, that could hold a small number of people.

What Box ?
The studio is a small, intimate stage that could hold a small number of people.
We’re introduced to Joann, who is sorting out her boxes; there are a lot of boxes!
Joann is talented; she shone through with her raw emotions, leaving me with poignant reminders of what Little boxes I had been put in throughout my life.
Getting to the raw part of what you have tried to keep locked away is sometimes uncomfortable.
Tears Of Emotion
Listening to Joann reel off all her Many boxes, it hit hard how, for the longest time, I have been trying to push out of boxes I was forced into.
were only Human
As humans, all you want is time with family and friends to be happy and do YOU!
We often, as pointed out, lose the ‘OUR’ box on who we are.
There is always a box open for grief; no matter how long we think we have, time is fleeting.
Some Parts had me in tears, As I miss my mum immensely, and it hit hard.
knowing I’m not the only person feeling alone, which is Heartbreaking.
Thanks to Joann for making me face some upsetting things I’d shoved in a few boxes,
They need to be explored.
It needs to be stated that I loved the swearing life is shit at times and colourful,
words should be!
fuckinghell needs to be said or screamed!
