Stranger Things: The First Shadow is the official stage prequel to Netflix’s Stranger Things. The story follows Hawkins before the events of the TV series, when Henry Creel and his family arrive in town hoping for a fresh start.
Young Jim Hopper, Joyce Maldonado and Bob Newby are dealing with the usual pressures of teenage life, but something darker is already taking hold. The production uses large-scale stagecraft, illusion, sound and visual effects to bring the world of Stranger Things into a live theatre setting.
