Overview
It was about time I treated Mr B and myself to a night out, and The Rocky Horror Show was an easy choice. The audience atmosphere was part of the fun before the curtain even rose: fishnets, feather boas, heels, costumes and plenty of people fully embracing the Rocky Horror spirit.
Cast
Norman Pace appeared as the Narrator at the performance I saw, while Liam Tamne played Frank-N-Furter. Their performances are retained here as part of the 2016 production record rather than being replaced by later touring casts.
My Review
Pace’s audience banter was hilarious, especially with seasoned fans firing back the traditional shout-outs. He handled the unpredictability brilliantly and helped make the auditorium feel like part of the show.
Liam Tamne’s Frank-N-Furter was a standout for me. He brought his own energy to an iconic role while still giving the audience all the flamboyance and mischief they had come for. And yes, we absolutely got up for the Time Warp.
The lighting and effects added to the chaos in the best possible way, and the whole evening had that slightly naughty, gloriously over-the-top energy that makes Rocky Horror such a distinctive theatre experience.

Where Are They Now? Liam Tamne
2026 update: Liam Tamne has continued working in musical theatre. He played John Brooke on the 2025 studio cast recording of Jo – The Little Women Musical and returned to the role for the musical’s London concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in January 2026.
That gives us a useful performer trail from this 2016 Rocky Horror archive review into later West End and concert work, and makes Liam a strong candidate for the Clarissa’s Corner cast database / Stagey Spotlight system.

August 2026: the most recent UK stage tour of The Rocky Horror Show finished at Manchester’s Palace Theatre on 1 August 2026. The official production website currently lists no further upcoming tour dates.
The later 2024–2026 tour artwork is retained below as part of the show’s history rather than presented as a current booking offer.
