Latest Cheap Cinema Deals

Cineworld £2 Family Films – September 2026

Cineworld’s current junior listings include selected £2 Family Films. These are limited family screenings rather than every film on the programme, so check your local Cineworld for participating titles, dates and times.

Cineworld Movies for Juniors

Cineworld’s regular Movies for Juniors programme offers discounted family screenings, with selected titles aimed at children and accompanying adults.

National Cinema Weekend 2026

National Cinema Weekend takes place on 5–6 September 2026, with £4 tickets at participating cinemas. Read our separate National Cinema Weekend guide for the latest details.

Cinema Memberships: When They Can Save Money

ODEON myLIMITLESS

ODEON’s myLIMITLESS membership is designed for frequent cinema-goers who want to see multiple films for one recurring membership price. ODEON currently lists myLIMITLESS Plus at £19.99 a month. Some premium formats and seating may still carry an upgrade charge, while Plus includes additional options such as LUXE, 3D and iSense. West End cinemas are included only with the Plus package.

There are booking rules worth knowing before joining. ODEON says myLIMITLESS members can hold a limited number of future bookings, and bookings that are no longer needed should be cancelled. If a member records three or more no-shows within a rolling 30-day period, ODEON can apply a seven-day advance-booking restriction, meaning new bookings must be made at the cinema on the day.

ODEON also says app bookings can normally be cancelled provided the film is not starting within two hours. Compare the full current terms with your likely number of visits before joining.

Cineworld Unlimited

Cineworld Unlimited is the closest direct comparison to myLIMITLESS. Current monthly pricing depends on the cinema group: £12.99, £17.99, £19.99 or £22.99 per month. Cineworld says members can watch as many standard-format public 2D films as they like within their membership group and can pre-book up to five films at a time without an online booking fee.

Other current benefits include advance member screenings, free Superscreen uplift, food and drink discounts, and reduced-price upgrades for formats such as IMAX, 4DX and ScreenX. Members paying monthly or three months upfront start with a 10% in-cinema food and drink discount, with a black-card upgrade after three months that raises this to 25%. Paying 12 months upfront gives the black-card benefits from sign-up.

Vue Offers

Vue does not currently advertise a direct unlimited-film membership equivalent to ODEON myLIMITLESS or Cineworld Unlimited. Instead, savings tend to come through individual offers and partner schemes. These include family-focused Mighty Mornings screenings, Meerkat Movies at participating locations and other current promotions shown on Vue’s offers pages.

Other Ways to Save

Meerkat Movies

Meerkat Movies can provide 2-for-1 cinema tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at participating cinemas. Individual cinema booking fees and exclusions can still apply, so check the terms before booking.

Book Online Carefully

Some chains price online and walk-up tickets differently. Cineworld, for example, says its standard online prices include a £1 per-person booking fee, while Unlimited members do not pay that booking fee for their own Unlimited ticket. Special programmes and voucher bookings can follow different rules.

Accessibility and Cinema Savings

CEA Card

The CEA Card is operated on behalf of the UK Cinema Association and is accepted by approximately 90% of UK cinemas. It allows an eligible disabled cinema-goer who buys the applicable full-price ticket to receive one complimentary ticket for a companion providing assistance at the same performance.

Eligibility rules apply, and the scheme can consider applications individually where someone does not meet the standard evidence routes but still needs assistance because of disability-related barriers.

Accessible Screenings

We’ll also flag relaxed, autism-friendly, subtitled, audio-described and other accessible screenings where useful. Availability varies by cinema, film and performance, so check the individual listing before booking.

FAQ

Which cinema has an unlimited membership?

ODEON offers myLIMITLESS and Cineworld offers Unlimited. Vue currently focuses on individual offers and partner discounts rather than an equivalent unlimited-film subscription.

Are cinema memberships always cheaper?

Not necessarily. They usually make the most sense for people who visit frequently. Compare the monthly membership price against what you would normally spend on tickets at your local cinema, and remember that some premium formats or seats can cost extra.

Are there really cheap cinema tickets for children?

Yes. UK cinema chains run low-cost family programmes, such as Cineworld’s current £2 Family Films. Prices, titles, dates and participating cinemas can change.

Can a CEA Card save money at the cinema?

For eligible disabled cinema-goers who need assistance, the CEA Card can provide one complimentary companion ticket when the qualifying ticket is purchased at a participating cinema.

Will this guide be updated?

Yes. This is designed as a living guide, so memberships, ticket offers and seasonal cinema deals can be updated as they change.
