Jack and the Beanstalk at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre (2025)
Jack and the Beanstalk Lyric Hammersmith Theatre returns for another magical pantomime season! Opening Saturday 15 November 2025 and running until Sunday 4 January 2026, this beloved West London festive favourite promises laughter, adventure, and a whole lot of magic for the whole family.
Following last year’s smash-hit Aladdin, the show reunites writer Sonia Jalaly and director Nicholai La Barrie, known for their playful humour, vibrant storytelling, and community spirit.
A Star-Packed Cast for 2025
The full cast includes:

They’re joined by Gabriela Benedetti, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Robert Donnelly, and Rachel Seirian in the ensemble.

A Story Full of Heart and Laughter
It’s the first day of term at Fleshcreep Academy, where Jack and Jill quickly discover things aren’t as they seem. Their mum’s the new dinner lady, the headteacher’s terrifying, and Fairy Godfather is nowhere to be found!
When the giant’s threat looms over Hammersmith, Jack must climb higher than ever to save the day. Expect toe-tapping tunes, clever jokes, and plenty of audience shouts of “He’s behind you!”
Celebrating 130 Years of the Lyric Hammersmith
As part of the theatre’s 130th birthday celebrations, Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan shared:
“Panto is at the heart of the festive season in West London. We’re thrilled to welcome back Sonia and Nicholai to reimagine Jack and the Beanstalk in our Lyric way – full of fun, imagination, and community spirit.”
This marks another year of the Lyric’s commitment to creativity, accessibility, and connection through performance.
Community Spirit & Free Ticket Opportunities
Thanks to support from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, residents and workers can apply for up to four free tickets for the Free First Night performance on 15 November 2025 at 6pm.
🎟️ Local Year 5 and 6 pupils in state schools are also invited to select shows free of charge — ensuring festive magic reaches every corner of the community.
