Belgrade Theatre & China Plate Announce a New Creative Partnership
Belgrade Theatre Coventry has announced an exciting new collaboration with acclaimed producing company China Plate, marking a bold new chapter for community-led theatre. Together, they will co-create future productions, including Nanny of the Maroons, set to open in Spring 2027.
This partnership supports the Belgrade’s mission to become a truly People-First organisation — putting collaboration, community, and creativity at the heart of its work. Following the success of their earlier co-created production Romeo and Juliet, the theatre continues to develop innovative ways for audiences to help shape the stories they see on stage.
