Noël Coward’s Hay Fever is now open at Wyndham’s Theatre, with Christine Baranski making her West End debut as Judith Bliss opposite Richard E. Grant as David Bliss.
Latest Update
4 October 2026: Hay Fever is now playing at Wyndham’s Theatre for a limited season until 12 December 2026.
What is Hay Fever about?
Noël Coward’s comedy follows the gloriously self-absorbed Bliss family at their country home. Retired actress Judith misses the attention of the stage, while novelist husband David and their children Sorrel and Simon are wrapped up in dramas of their own. When each member of the family independently invites a guest for the same weekend, their attempts at hospitality rapidly descend into games, arguments and spectacularly bad manners.
