A theatre piece shaped by lived experience
Learn From Us is a disability dance-theatre production created with people living with brain injury, combining live performance, music, movement and projected stories from different parts of the world.
The autumn 2026 tour continues to Gloucester, Reading and London, with the London performance taking place on 1 December 2026 at The Source in Stratford.
What is Learn From Us about?
The show centres on a mother and son in the aftermath of life-changing illness: one navigating life as a carer and the other rebuilding independence. Alongside live performers, projected material brings in perspectives from India and Australia.
The production explores recovery, independence, unpaid care, identity and what it means to build a meaningful life after trauma.

The live company includes professional singer Melanie Pappenheim, dancer Elvie Rose Christiansen Head, and Brain Odysseys ambassadors Jen Chandler and James Heather.
