What Is Lost Worlds?
Created by Luxmuralis — artist and sculptor Peter Walker and composer David Harper — Lost Worlds is an immersive light and sound installation taking audiences through the great civilisations, myths and forgotten histories of humanity.
The experience is designed as a walking journey through historic spaces at the Old Royal Naval College, with projections and sound transforming the architecture around you.
What to Expect
The installations move from prehistoric cave art and evolving ancient patterns through knights, castles and illuminated manuscripts. Along the way, the experience explores imagined and historical lost worlds including the Garden of Eden, Atlantis, Troy and the age of dinosaurs.
One of the biggest moments is tied to the Painted Hall’s 300th anniversary: a bespoke projection reimagines Sir James Thornhill’s Painted Hall artwork across Sir Christopher Wren’s architecture, blending the historic setting with large-scale projection technology.

Getting There
The Old Royal Naval College sits beside the Thames in the heart of Maritime Greenwich. Cutty Sark DLR is only a few minutes’ walk away, while Greenwich rail station is around an 11-minute walk and Maze Hill around 15 minutes.
Greenwich Pier is also just moments from the site for visitors travelling by river. Bus routes including 129, 177, 188, 199, 286 and 386 stop within a short walk. There is no general visitor parking on site, so public transport is the easiest option for most visitors.
