Summer 2013
This little archive post captured one of those everyday summer weeks when the brighter mornings made everything feel easier.
I had even been contemplating skating part of the school run, although the walk was over a mile and I wasn’t convinced it was the most practical plan!
New Skates
My old skates had broken, so I replaced them with a new pair.

What Else Was Going On?
The original post also talked about the diet and exercise goals I was following at the time, trying a sunbed, and family hay-fever woes. I’m keeping those details as part of the personal archive rather than presenting them as current health or lifestyle advice.
2026 Archive Update
This is very much an early Clarissa’s Corner diary entry: school-run logistics, new skates, sunshine and the sort of everyday life updates that made up the blog in 2013.

I joined Slimming World ages ago but quit which was a shame as I did quite well on it. Hope you Slimming World journey keeps going well :-).
