Anglesey Abbey is celebrating 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh with two family experiences for autumn and winter 2026: an indoor centenary exhibition and the outdoor Three Cheers for Pooh! story trail.

Both Winnie-the-Pooh experiences run from 3 October 2026 to 3 January 2027. The activities are free events, but normal admission to Anglesey Abbey still applies. No separate event booking is currently required.
The indoor exhibition is scheduled to close temporarily from 2 to 15 November 2026 while work takes place in the house. The outdoor trail operates separately according to the National Trust event calendar.
Three Cheers for Pooh! story trail

The family-friendly trail invites visitors to find Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends around the gardens while celebrating the character’s 100th anniversary.
The route includes unpaved, grassy and barked surfaces, so sturdy comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are sensible. Mobility scooters can be borrowed for the garden trail, and the National Trust recommends arranging one in advance.
Winnie-the-Pooh Centenary Exhibition

The house exhibition invites visitors into the world of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends as the original A. A. Milne book reaches its centenary.
Allow approximately 10 to 15 minutes to reach the house from the visitor centre. Last entry is one hour before the house closes.

- Normal admission charges to Anglesey Abbey still apply.

The indoor exhibition is on the ground floor with step-free access through the courtyard. Powered mobility scooters cannot enter the house, but two wheelchairs are available for visitors who need to transfer.
