TuckShop Jack and the Beanstalk at Emerald Theatre 2026

TuckShop Jack and the Beanstalk 2026 at Emerald Theatre promotional artwork

TuckShop is heading back to Emerald Theatre for Christmas 2026 with an adults-only, all-drag Jack and the Beanstalk — and the cast is stacked with familiar faces from Drag Race and TuckShop’s own gloriously chaotic theatre world.

At a glance: Emerald Theatre, 8 Victoria Embankment, London WC2R 2AB · 2 December 2026–10 January 2027 · 18+ · approximately 2 hours including interval.

What is TuckShop’s Jack and the Beanstalk?

This is TuckShop’s sixth all-drag pantomime and very much the grown-up version of the familiar fairytale. Expect the bones of Jack, the cow, the beans and the Giant, but filtered through TuckShop’s rude, camp and deliberately chaotic style.

The production is written by Kate Butch, Crudi Dench and Eleanor Mason, directed and created by Christopher D. Clegg, and produced by TuckShop.

Jack and the Beanstalk cast

  • Bones — Jack
  • Kitty Scott-Claus — Princess Jill
  • Rosé — Fleshcreep until 23 December
  • Kyran Thrax — Fleshcreep from 27 December
  • Kate Butch — Jack’s Mother
  • Yshee Black — Fairy Liquid
  • Dairy King — The Milkman
  • Cheryl Hole — Cheryl the Cow
  • Ophelia Love — Villager No. 4

The Giant will be played by a rotating line-up of guest performers across the run. Those names are still to be announced, so I’ll update this guide when TuckShop confirms them.

Age guidance and running time

This production is 18+. TuckShop describes it as a deliberately adult pantomime, so this one belongs in the grown-up Christmas night-out pile rather than the family panto list.

The supplied running time is approximately 2 hours including an interval.

More drag and festive theatre

If this is your flavour of panto, there is plenty more grown-up festive theatre in the Clarissa’s Corner archive and current guides.
