Accessibility & SEN Information for Zoo on a Broom

The Visitor Centre has toilets, including an accessible toilet, plus baby changing facilities. Hall Place asks wheelchair users to contact the venue when booking. Staff can then advise which sessions still have wheelchair-friendly spaces.

One particularly useful note for sensory planning is Hall Place’s warning that the session can become busy and loud. Families booking for an SEN group should contact the venue in advance to discuss whether the session can meet their needs.

Fireworks can still cause noise, so please check directly with the organiser if sound sensitivity is a concern. Ticket prices, fireworks timings and availability should be checked before travelling. Previously at Halloween in Bexley: The Goblin of Lesnes

Bexley has already proved that local Halloween theatre can be something rather special. In 2025, The Ruined Theatre presented The Goblin of Lesnes at Lesnes Abbey Ruins as part of the Night Visions programme.

The production ran at Lesnes Abbey from 29–31 October 2025. Later performances took place at Sidcup Storyteller Library and Crossness Pumping Station. I have included it here as part of Clarissa’s Corner’s local archive, not as a confirmed 2026 event.

Bexley Council’s production gallery also captures the atmosphere of the 2025 production, with performance photography by Hannah Brandon.

Planning a Bexley Halloween Day Out

If you are combining activities, Hall Place is currently the easiest place to build a half-term day around. Several confirmed events take place there. Check individual booking requirements carefully: some activities require advance tickets, while the owl experience offers a more flexible drop-in option.

For sensory-sensitive visitors, check noise levels, session sizes and lighting before booking. The dedicated SEN inflatable sessions are currently one of the clearest local options, with specific sensory adjustments explained in advance.

Yes. The Bexleyheath Inflatable Fun Day has two SEN-exclusive sessions with reduced capacity, no music or whistles and adjusted lighting. Hall Place also provides accessibility information for Zoo on a Broom and asks SEN groups to contact the venue before booking.

No 2026 return appears in the sources checked for this guide. Bexley Council lists The Goblin of Lesnes performances in 2025, so I have included them only as part of the local Halloween archive.
