Our In The Night Garden Live 2016 Visit
We visited In The Night Garden Live 2016 at the Blackheath Showdome during its London run.
The live show brought familiar Night Garden characters including Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka into a family theatre setting created especially for very young audiences.
Meeting the Characters
One of the clearest parts of the visit preserved in the archive is the character experience. Our original photographs show the children meeting characters from the show, including Makka Pakka and Upsy Daisy.
The Goody Bag
goody bags could be pre-booked alongside tickets.

Is In The Night Garden Live Still Touring?
Yes. In The Night Garden Live is still touring in 2026, with a UK and Ireland theatre tour featuring Igglepiggle’s Busy Day. We’re keeping the current tour information separate from this historical review, so readers can use this page for our 2016 experience and a current guide for the latest dates and venues.
