Christmas at Woolwich Works returns this winter, transforming South East London’s award-winning riverside arts and culture hub into a dazzling wonderland of music, crafts and festive joy.
Running from 29 November to 22 December 2025, the venue promises something for everyone — from soulful choirs to sparkling stage shows and a candy-coated Santa’s grotto perfect for families and four-legged friends.

Festive Highlights and Family Fun
Kicking off 29 November, Christmas at Woolwich Works opens with the Christmas Candy Grotto, inviting families into a sugar-sweet dreamworld of lights, laughter, and photo-ready magic.
That same evening, the Ropekeepers Studio comes alive with A (Not So) Silent Night, while Baby Gospel Christmas Special follows on 7 December, mixing Motown, soul, and timeless carols.
A Christmas Wish – The Magic of Dance
From 14 to 22 December, Let’s All Dance Ballet Company enchants younger audiences with A Christmas Wish. Follow Fern the Fairy and Eggnog the Elf as they decorate their cosy home and learn what it truly means to make a wish.
Featuring sparkling costumes, gentle storytelling, and post-show meet-and-greets, it’s an ideal introduction to theatre for children aged 0–8
(including those with special needs).
Crafts, Choirs and Community Cheer
On 14, 21 and 22 December, join Christmas Crafternoon: A Kitschmas Celebration — half-hour bursts of retro-inspired creativity where guests craft glittery cards and ornaments.
That same weekend, British Youth Music Theatre returns with Let It Snow (14 Dec), uniting young performers nationwide for an evening of seasonal songs and 2025 musical season previews.
As schools close for the holidays, the End-of-Term Winter Party (19 Dec) invites families to dance, sing and play in the Visitors’ Book Café — followed that evening by Chineke! Christmas, the resident orchestra’s jubilant finale in the Fireworks Factory.
