Halloween at Paultons Park 2026: Peppa Pig Family Guide

Clarissa’s Corner scrapbook-style guide to Halloween at Paultons Park 2026, with family Halloween attractions and event dates

Latest Update

Paultons Park’s Halloween Spooktacular runs from 9 October to 2 November 2026. Late-night openings are scheduled for 17, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29 October 2026, with no extra Halloween event charge on those dates. Peppa Pig World closes at 6pm during the late-night openings.

Overview

Halloween at Paultons Park is firmly aimed at family-friendly spooky fun rather than full-on scares. The park is decorated for the season, Peppa Pig World gets a Halloween makeover, Peppa and George appear in costume, and seasonal shows, characters and photo opportunities run alongside the rides.

What’s On

  • Peppa and George in Halloween costumes
  • Peppa Pig World’s seasonal Halloween makeover
  • The Little Monsters Ball on the show stage
  • Spirit Squad Ghoul School and seasonal characters including Pickles the Pumpkin
  • The Great Halloween Mystery during the main half-term programme
  • Ghostly Manor interactive dark ride throughout the event
  • The newly opened Valgard: Realm of the Vikings decorated for Halloween
  • Seasonal food, gifts and Halloween photo opportunities

Paultons Park currently says its main seasonal shows run between 17 October and 2 November 2026. Check the app or official timetable on your visit day for exact performance times.

Halloween Late Nights 2026

Late-night openings take place on 17, 23, 24, 27, 28 and 29 October. These are included with normal admission for the date, but Peppa Pig World closes at 6pm, so families mainly visiting for Peppa should plan that part of the day before the evening programme.

Tickets

The Halloween shows and attractions are included in the normal Paultons Park admission price. Tickets are date-specific and popular half-term dates can fill, so booking in advance is sensible. Peppa Pig World is included with Paultons Park admission rather than requiring a separate ticket.

Rides & Seasonal Closures

Most rides are scheduled to operate during Halloween, subject to availability and weather. Paultons Park currently lists Water Kingdom, Muddy Puddles and Seal Falls as closed during the event. It also lists Velociraptor as closed 1–11 October and Sky Swinger 12–18 October. Maintenance can change, so check the official ride-availability information shortly before travelling.

Peppa Pig World at Halloween

For younger families, Peppa Pig World is one of the biggest reasons to choose Paultons for Halloween. The familiar setting gets a seasonal makeover and Peppa and George appear in Halloween costumes, giving children the pumpkins-and-costumes side of the season without turning the whole visit into a scare event.

Peppa Pig World has nine rides aimed at young children and is included in park admission. Character appearances and times can vary, so use the Paultons Park app on the day.

How Scary Is Halloween at Paultons Park?

The event is marketed as family Halloween fun, but individual children can react differently to dark rides, characters, decorations and seasonal effects. Ghostly Manor in particular includes spooky scenes and effects. If someone in your group is sensitive to darkness, sudden sounds or themed scares, check individual attraction information before joining the queue.

Accessibility & SEN

Paultons Park provides accessibility information covering ride access and its Queue Assist Scheme, which needs to be pre-booked and has limited availability. The park also publishes a Neurodiversity Stimuli Guide showing where attractions may include elements such as scary scenes and other sensory stimuli. That is particularly useful during Halloween when the park also has seasonal decorations and entertainment.

Because access arrangements and eligibility can change, check the current official accessibility guidance before booking rather than relying on an older visit.

Practical Information

Location: Paultons Park, Ower, Romsey, The New Forest, Hampshire, SO51 6AL.
Parking: free for park visitors.
Weather: much of the park is outdoors, although there is undercover seating at the show stage. Rides generally continue in rain but severe weather can affect operation.
