The new shop will cover more than 21,000 sq ft across two floors at The Ribbon, 134–140 Oxford Street. Rather than feeling like a standard retail store, it is being designed as an immersive Diagon Alley-inspired experience with themed spaces, exclusive products, photo opportunities and a brand-new Leaky Cauldron food and drink area.

Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street Overview
The Oxford Street flagship will be the UK’s largest official Harry Potter Shop and will join the existing King’s Cross shop as one of London’s main official Wizarding World retail destinations.
The interior takes its inspiration from Diagon Alley, with immersive areas based on familiar wizarding locations from the Harry Potter books and films. Visitors can expect magical props, themed details, interactive moments and plenty of photo opportunities alongside the shopping itself.

- Ukrainian Ironbelly Dragon: a major centrepiece towering over the Gringotts area.
- Full-size Knight Bus: a triple-decker Knight Bus positioned inside the shop as a photo opportunity.
- Diagon Alley-inspired spaces: themed retail areas designed to feel like a journey through the wizarding shopping street.
- Interactive and photo moments: magical details and immersive elements throughout the store.
- Exclusive merchandise: products created specifically for the Oxford Street flagship.
The Leaky Cauldron Food & Drink Experience
One of the most interesting additions is an all-new Leaky Cauldron-themed food and drink experience created specifically for the Oxford Street flagship.
Butterbeer is firmly part of the plan, with Butterbeer Ice Cream also confirmed. The full menu and prices have not yet been announced, so I’ll add those here when they are released.

Is Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street Worth Adding to a London Day Out?
On paper, yes. The scale, theming, Knight Bus, Gringotts dragon and Leaky Cauldron make this sound much closer to an immersive Harry Potter destination than a normal souvenir shop.
It should also be easy to combine with other central London attractions, shopping and theatre. Once the shop opens, I’ll update this guide with what it is actually like in person rather than relying only on the launch information.
