UK CINEMA RELEASES
FEBRUARY 2027
New Releases • Horror • Thrillers • Adaptations • Family • Event Cinema
February 2027 is already shaping up far better than a blank forward-planner month. This is the Clarissa’s Corner cinema diary for the darker picks, big adaptations, family releases and event cinema worth keeping on the radar as UK dates firm up.
February is still a forward-planning draft. Dates marked CONFIRMED DATE have stronger current UK support; anything marked PROVISIONAL / WORKING UK DATE needs another check before booking. Cinema availability can still vary by venue.

HORROR & THRILLER RADAR
Remain is the clearest dark pick currently worth building around. Panic Carefully and Wife & Dog keep the thriller side healthy too. Leads including Heart Eyes 2, The Revenge of La Llorona and Bunker are not being promoted into the main list yet because a sufficiently firm current UK February date has not been established.
FAMILY CINEMA & CHEAP SCREENINGS
Ice Age: Boiling Point and Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew give February two substantial family options. Low-cost weekend and school-holiday programmes vary by venue, so use the evergreen savings guide before paying full price.
BOOKS & ADAPTATIONS
February has two especially strong adaptation links: Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew from C. S. Lewis and Children of Blood and Bone from Tomi Adeyemi. These sit naturally beside Clarissa’s Corner’s wider adaptation coverage rather than being treated as isolated cinema releases.
ACCESSIBLE & RELAXED CINEMA
Check individual cinema listings for relaxed, sensory-friendly, subtitled and audio-described performances. The CEA Card can provide a free companion ticket for eligible disabled cinema guests at participating UK cinemas.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
February is still several months out, so dates and participating cinemas can move. Recheck the distributor, your chosen cinema and any event-cinema organiser before booking.

MORE RELEASES TO WATCH
Dates not confirmed for this month: Heart Eyes 2, The Revenge of La Llorona and Bunker — useful leads, but current UK February dates are not firm enough. The Playboy of the Western World has been removed from the February 2027 event-cinema lead list because the National Theatre’s confirmed cinema release belongs to 2026.
