Climbers check in, receive a safety briefing and climbing gear, and then cross the fabric walkway with a guide. Groups are typically led in organised climb sessions, with time at the summit to take in the 360-degree views before descending on the opposite side.

The 2026 wheelchair-climb dates are currently sold out. Bookings for 2027 reopen on 1 October 2026. Wheelchair climbs use a specialist wheelchair and pulley system, can last up to three hours and must be booked separately. Visitors with access requirements are encouraged to contact the Up at The O2 box office in advance to discuss suitability.
Practical Information
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your climb time. Lockers are available for personal belongings, and large bags should be avoided. Cameras and GoPros are not permitted during the climb, although official photography is available. Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear are recommended.
